PURPOSE OF PROCESSING

LEGAL BASIS and DATA RETENTION

Website browsing: We process your data to allow you to browse our websites and consult them. The IT systems and software procedures used to operate the websites acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This category of data includes IP addresses, information relating to the device used to connect to the website, addresses in URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server response (successful, error, etc.), other parameters related to the user’s operating system and/or IT environment, as well as other identifiers that alone and/or combined with other information may allow the identification of a natural person. This category also includes cookies, for which reference is made to the specific cookie policy.

The processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) Reg. EU 2016/679, as it is necessary for the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at your request or for the performance of a contract to which you are a party. With regard to the processing related to non-technical and non-essential cookies, reference is made to the specific cookie policy, specifying that in such cases processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) Reg. EU 2016/679, as the data subject’s consent is required. The data collected will be processed for the period indicated in the cookie policy, to which full reference is made. You may, in any case, easily withdraw your consent by writing to the above email address, or through the opt-out procedure in the cookie management banner.

Contact form: We process your data resulting from the completion of contact forms in order to allow us to respond to and handle your request. For this purpose we will process the following personal data: company or business name, or first and last name, contact details (email and phone), work-related data and address/headquarters.

The processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) Reg. EU 2016/679, as it is necessary for the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at your request or for the performance of a contract to which you are a party. The data will be retained for no longer than 60 days.

Reserved area registration: We process your data to allow you access to the reserved area relating to the download section of the website. For this purpose we will process the following personal data: first name, last name, business name, email address.

The processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) Reg. EU 2016/679, as it is necessary for the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at your request or for the performance of a contract to which you are a party. The data will be retained for the time necessary for the fulfilment of ongoing contracts.

Newsletter: The processing of personal data is aimed at the sending, via email, of commercial and/or promotional communications promoted by KERADOM SRL. The data processed are personal details and the email address.

The processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) Reg. EU 2016/679, as the data subject’s consent is required. The data collected will be processed for no longer than 24 months from the last contact.

DATA DISCLOSURE

Where the legal basis is not consent, providing your personal data is necessary, otherwise it would not be possible to carry out the requested actions.

DATA RECIPIENTS

 Depending on the purpose, the personal data provided may be disclosed to internal staff expressly authorized to perform processing operations, as well as to IT service providers and/or consultants acting as data processors, and to public bodies in compliance with legal obligations. The list of recipients may be requested from the Data Controller.

EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS

At any time you have the right to obtain confirmation from the controller as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed and, if so, to access your personal data and the following information:

the purposes of the processing;

• the categories of personal data processed;
• the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed;
• the storage period or the criteria used to determine such period;
• the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling.

Furthermore, you may request:

• the rectification of your data, if inaccurate;
• the erasure of your data, in the cases:
1. where the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected and/or processed;
2. of withdrawal of consent, provided that there is no other legal basis for the processing;
3. of objection pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1) and 2) of the Regulation;
4. where erasure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation;
• restriction of processing where:
1. you contest the accuracy of the personal data, for the period necessary for the controller to verify the accuracy of such data;
2. the processing is unlawful and you oppose erasure, requesting that its use be restricted;
3. the controller no longer needs the data, but you require them for the establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claim;
4. in the event of objection pursuant to Art. 21, for the time necessary for the controller to assess whether the controller’s legitimate grounds override yours;
• to receive in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format the personal data processed by automated means, on the basis of consent or a contract;
• that the data no longer be processed for direct marketing purposes, by objecting pursuant to Art. 21 para. 2 of the Regulation.

Lastly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, headquartered in Rome at Piazza Venezia no. 11, if you believe that a processing activity violates the Regulation.
